Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using BugMe, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. The Service

BugMe is a reminder application designed for people with ADHD. It sends progressively more persistent notifications to help you complete tasks. The service includes optional integrations with Canvas LMS and Discord.

3. Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use BugMe. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

4. Your Account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • Do not share your credentials or Canvas API tokens
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account
  • We may suspend accounts that violate these terms

5. Free & Pro Plans

  • Free plan: 5 reminders, push notifications, 3 escalation levels
  • Pro plan ($4.99/month): unlimited reminders, all channels, 5 levels, Canvas integration
  • Pro subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe
  • You can cancel anytime from the Billing page; access continues until the period ends
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis

6. Canvas LMS Integration

BugMe is not affiliated with Instructure, Inc. When you connect Canvas, you provide an API token at your own risk. BugMe reads assignment data only and does not modify your Canvas account. Your institution may have policies about third-party API access — check with them first.

7. Notifications

BugMe is designed to send persistent, escalating notifications. By enabling notifications, you consent to receiving frequent alerts. You can adjust escalation settings, snooze reminders, or disable channels at any time.

8. Limitation of Liability

BugMe is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not responsible for missed deadlines, failed notifications, or any consequences of using or failing to use the service. Do not rely solely on BugMe for critical tasks.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email.
